Enochian diaries ~

Eruption duo (( Manja Ristic & Ivana Grahovac )) are multi-instrumentalists who achieved an extraordinary communication in the sphere of cognitive improvisation. Life long collaboration, development and integration of ideas produced unique sensibility - an undivided musical spirit with distinctive emotional language that comprehends sound dimension as fully material notion constantly inducing change in the multilayered narratives.

Depth of the energy based transfers reveal advanced intuitive skills and highly creative mediation of sub conscious contents. Ivana & Manja breath together in every moment while transcending yet untold stories deeply hidden in wondrous stratums of psyche.

Enochian diaries is a session dedicated to an old piano kept for a long time in Ivana's family. The album is knitted with unusual treatment of an instrument, but also with carefully chosen field recordings such are sounds of Byford's forest which is located right opposite of the Ivana's old family house as well as astronomical sound recordings of Jupiter atmosphere such is Jovian chorus.

Guest performer is Serbian ambient artist Marko Paunovic who contributed with samples of analogue radio frequencies and electricity sound interventions.

Recorded in Studio AVALA, May 2016

Eruption in Cologne

In the time of internet this scene is orientated internationally and up-to-date. Due to difficult economic and political circumstances in the country itself and a quite restrictive visa handling of the EU, the work of these ambitious artists has found only a little attention in the western European public. To change this and to initiate an artistic dialog between German and Serbian artists is one of the concerns of this festival.Beside the concerts in the evening hours, there will be working phases during the day to provide possibilities for the intense exchange of artistic approaches and ideas.
Upon prior agreement it will be possible ( i.e. for school classes) to attend these working phases for listening and colloquy. Eruption performances: Sat., 29.01.2011 / 20h00 at C.U.B.A, Achtermannstrasse 12, 48143 Münster
Sun. + Mon., 30./31.01.2011 / 20h30 at Stadtgarten, Venloerstrasse 40, 50672 Köln

V:NM Festival

V:NM - Association for the promotion and dissemination of new music was founded in 1996 to improve the dissemination of New Music. This move was caused by the absence of phonograms by contemporary Austrian artists, in particular those who cannot clearly be assigned to a specific category. V:NM is a non-profit organisation and all revenues from sales are exclusively used to the artists' benefit. The organisation sees itself as an unbureaucratic, self-regulating pool. The founding members include personalities like Burkhard Stangl, Werner Dafeldecker, Elisabeth Schimana, Katharina Klementh, Seppo Gründler, Oskar Aichinger and Josef Klammer. At present, more than 50 artists use the opportunities offered by V:NM. Performances co-organized by Aksioma: Opening ceremony of the 6th V:NM Festival
